By choosing to volunteer with The Center for Suicide Awareness, you will be doing your part in making a difference by helping in educating the community about suicide prevention and reducing the stigma of mental health and suicide. Our current volunteer opportunities are listed below.

Create a Mental Health Awareness Day

Work with your school, organization, or faith-based organization to offer a resource fair. The Center for Suicide Awareness can provide materials for your event.

Host a Fundraiser

Whatever event will work to raise both awareness around mental health and suicide prevention and raise funds.

We have had meat raffles, to jean days, and are open to your creative ideas!

Purchase Mental Health Resources or Donate Them to Another

We have a wide variety of suicide prevention materials that include wallet cards, brochures, posters, booklets, and more.

Organize a

Charity Stream

Video games are not just a one-person thing anymore. They are used for social gatherings, competition, and talking to likeminded people all over the world!

Organize a Poster Campaign

Do you know the warning signs of suicide? Create materials that share the signs and also with writing messages of encouragement to those who might be struggling.

Organize a Social Media Campaign

Everyone uses social media!! Create an engaging campaign in how to have conversations about mental health and suicide prevention. Breaking the stigma!

Design a T-Shirt, Sticker, or Button Campaign

We love creative people and their ideas! Design a t-shirt, sticker, or button that supports mental well being and suicide prevention.

Create a Suicide Prevention and Awareness Day

Dedicate a day to knowing the warning signs of suicide and what to do to prevent suicide. Host a training or workshop.
