Suicide Prevention That Meets You Where You Are

Education That Saves Lives

Because suicide prevention belongs in every community.

You don’t have to be a mental health professional to recognize warning signs or help someone through a crisis. You just need the right tools—and a little confidence. Our suicide prevention training and outreach programs are built for everyday people: bartenders, veterans, teachers, police officers, gamers, and more.

We work with organizations of all sizes across the U.S. to offer evidence-based, judgment-free education that sticks. Our trainings are practical, customizable, and grounded in real-world experience.

We Train People Who Show Up

Whether it’s behind a bar or behind a badge.

We offer tailored training for:

Veterans & military groups

We offer culturally competent, peer-informed training that acknowledges the unique stressors and transitions faced by service members—before, during, and after active duty. Our challenge coin-based approach fosters connection and resilience in military communities.

First responders & law enforcement

We train police, firefighters, EMTs, and dispatchers to recognize signs of suicidal ideation in both the public and among their own teams—using field-tested tools and FBI-certified resilience techniques.

Educators & school communities

Our school-based programs equip teachers, counselors, and administrators with tools to support struggling students, de-escalate emotional distress, and connect families to resources—without adding more to their plates.

Tavern staff & hospitality workers

As one of the first lines of contact in many communities, bartenders and servers are uniquely positioned to notice when something’s wrong. We’ve trained thousands of hospitality workers to respond with compassion, clarity, and confidence.

Gaming communities & online moderators

We help developers, Discord moderators, and gaming orgs create safer online spaces with training on trauma-informed moderation, digital intervention, and community care practices.

General workplace teams & leadership

From HR departments to C-suite execs, we teach teams how to talk about mental health at work, build peer support systems, and respond to coworkers in crisis—because prevention starts on the ground floor.

Practical, Evidence-Based Skills

No fluff. Just tools that work.

  • How to respond to someone in crisis
  • How to reduce stigma in your community or workplace
  • Coping & resiliency skills for helpers and frontline workers
  • Follow-up resources and how to build a support-ready environment

All trainings are delivered by experienced instructors, including FBI-certified Master Resilience Trainers.

Got Questions About Training?

Here’s what people ask us most often.

  • Do I need to be a mental health professional to take your training?

Not at all. Our trainings are built for everyday people—teachers, bartenders, managers, volunteers, you name it. We use real language, not clinical jargon, and focus on giving you practical tools you can actually use in the moment.

  • What makes your training different from others?

We don’t do checkbox training. Every session is interactive, evidence-based, and led by instructors with deep experience—including FBI-certified Master Resilience Trainers. We also tailor our content to your specific audience—no generic slideshows here.

  • Can you customize the training for our group or industry?

Absolutely. Whether you’re in a school, tavern, gaming community, or Fortune 500 office, we’ll work with you to deliver relevant examples, concerns, and skills that match your setting.

  • Is your training available virtually?

Yes! We offer both in-person and virtual formats, depending on what works best for your team. Virtual sessions are just as interactive and impactful as in-person ones.

  • How long is the training?

It depends on what you’re looking for. We offer short-format awareness sessions, half-day workshops, and multi-day trainings for deeper learning. We’ll help you choose the right fit for your goals.

  • Do you offer certifications or continuing education credits?

We can provide certificates of completion, and in many cases, our trainings qualify for CEUs depending on your field and state. Just let us know what you need—we’re happy to help make it count.

  • How much does it cost?

Pricing varies based on format, audience size, and delivery method—but we’re a nonprofit, and we work hard to make our programs accessible. Reach out and we’ll walk you through your options (no pressure).

  • How do I request a training?

Easy! Just fill out our training request form and we’ll follow up to learn more about your needs, schedule, and goals. We’ll handle the logistics—you just bring your people.
